Our Unique Story

Thank you for visiting our website and your interest in our very special school. At TES, we are extremely proud of our thriving and successful school where our pupils are our greatest ambassadors.

The English School, which is the only not for profit school in Kuwait, was founded in 1953 and has served the English speaking community for 70 years. Closely following the Foundation Stage and National Curriculum for England, pupils are taught by well qualified, experienced and caring staff who recognise that all children are unique.

Life at TES

The Pre-prep department has a lively and exciting atmosphere, with children eager to learn in our classes and outdoor play areas.

The English School follows the National Curriculum for England and a high level of pastoral care is provided for every child.

Our Facilities

The school has an excellent array of first class facilities that help to provide a wonderful ‘working’ environment for pupils and staff. We are also very proud of the space available for children to enjoy play and socialising during breaks, before and after school and during our diverse and varied ECA (Extra Curricular Activity) programme.

PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE

This is a world class facility, comfortably seats over 600 in a fabulous environment and is used for assemblies, school productions, parent meetings, musical performances and also has a good deal of local community use.

Year 9 showcased their cooking skills in D&T. Demo Year 9 showcased their cooking skills in D&T. Demonstrating creativity and vital life skills, whilst having fun and creating delicious food. It’s great to have the year 9 students on site engaging in practical activities! ✨
Year 9 students completed certified EFR first aid Year 9 students completed certified EFR first aid training, gaining an internationally recognised CPR qualification valid for two years and developing essential emergency response skills. As a school, we are proud to see them build confidence and responsibility in such important life skills.
