Culture, Service & Environment

Sri Lanka

Step straight into an adventure movie with a 7-day, action-packed cultural visit to Sri Lanka, full of fun and frolic. Our itinerary includes a visit to the living Fortress of Galle Fort, a 400-year-old walled city built right on the ocean by European explorers. A walk along the stone ramparts where real cannons still point out to sea offers an insight into the history of Galle. Our visit will also take us to Udawalawe Elephant Safari Home, where baby elephants charge across the field for milk-feeding time and an excellent opportunity to observe wild elephants freely roaming the grounds. An exciting afternoon trekking beneath the dense canopy of trees, observing miniature wildlife in Kanneliya Rainforest, and for those keen to preserve nature, a visit to the turtle sanctuary will allow students to develop an eco-conscience. The cherry on top of this fun-packed adventure is the surfing lessons on Unawatuna beach. So catch a wave with me and let’s go to Sri Lanka!
